Eriele and Melissa: Book Agents
Melissa

This about an utterly mental girl named Melissa who BTW is wearing a straight jacket.Dur- I don't know what to say. How about this? Zeus's child, a Lucian liar and is following the path of Isis? No? deal with it. I'm a tad bit of an Anglophile which means British things are my cup of tea. Reading fan fiction is one of my guilty pleasures while non-readers who insult readers is my biggest pet peeves. I'm a bit random so expect lots of unexpected posts about reading even the occasional book flaming if totally necessary. Reading is awesome 'nuff said.
Eriele

The next sentence you would read would be about the weirdo dweeb Eriele. Sometimes I like fictional characters more than real people. I don`t know. But I`m a fifteen year old offspring of Zeus who`s love struck by Nico Di Angelo and also an Ekaterina traitor who helps the Madrigals. Luring out hot fictional characters are hard, if you would do it literally. Tho it`s easier when you make them mentally, that way, you could have all of them. Anyway, reading is my pride that shuts the reality for while so I`d like to recommend books I have read recently for several purposes of your own.

This Totally Bites! by Ruth Ames.

First book of the Poison Apple volumes: This Totally Bites!
Obviously on the title and cover, it`s about vampire. If you have read some of the Candy Apple books, well, this is totally different. It`s not just a prediction or what, but this is real.

Pale Emma-rose Paley is different. She despises onion and bright sun. She has sharp incisors and loves rare meat. But what does it all mean? Emma-rose researches and found out that they`re family has some dark secret. Could she be a real vampire?

Haha. I was really waiting for this book to be available in our school library. Perhaps I was compelled by the cute red and black cover and main idea of the book: vampire. But, yeah, this book`s cute. Some circumstances could be predictable, but mostly it`s surprising. Go on, try it.

Tuck Everlasting by Nancy Babbit.

Probably gives you a I-think-I-heard-or-seen-this-before, eh?
That was what I thought when I saw it in Booksale.
Little Winnie Foster decides to wander around the forest behind their house and found a mysterious part where a gorgeous boy sits under the tree and won`t let her drink from the spring. She finds out that the Tuck family is immortal--after drinking from the spring. It is in her hands if the family`s secret is to be held or to be spilled.

Spoiler alert.

I am still completely disappointed at the book`s ending. Why did she have to die? It`s just not right for Jessie Tuck.

End of spoiler.

Anyway, this book had a movie before by Walt Disney pictures. But Winnie Foster`s a grown-up there, though.

The Talent Thief by Alex Williams
Friday, June 24, 2011 @ 4:53 AM
If you like the Darlings series by Sam Llewellyn then you're going to love this one.

Wealthy orphans Adam and Cressida Bloom couldn't be less alike. Adam can't seem to help being exceedingly ordinary whereas Cressida, his glamorous sister, has a magnificent talent - when she sings, even the birds stop to listen. Then Cressida is invited to perform at Fortescue's festival of young talents and Adam tags along. But, once the children arrive at the festival, in a mountain-top hotel, their terrific talents begin to mysteriously disappear. A piano virtuoso suddenly forgets how to play, a maths genius finds she can no longer multiply. There's a sinister shadow that only Adam ever sees, a strange glow emanating from behind closed doors...With the help of an erratic ex-racing driver, dashing Amy Swift, Adam and Cressida rip-roar off through the mountains in Amy's shiny racing car, the Silver Swift. They are in perilous pursuit of the dastardly talent thief! But, from a hair-raisingly close shave with an avalanche to crash landing a plane on a runway the size of a table, Adam never gives up. Perhaps he isn't as ordinary as he first thought!

The beginning was the typical Stereo-type meet and greet. You have the handsome and boastful type, Hans Fortissimo *ehem Cressida ehem*. The pretty nerd type, Sofia de Graf, then the painting geniuses and slim hockey players, ya know the usual. The usualness of stories stops there. It was fast paced in an utterly good kind. Then the freakiness starts(Truth be told I had goosebumps while reading this even though it's not an actual HORROR Story.) like monsters, glowing balls of talents and even includes the usual Shepherd and eccentric race car driver. Personal Opinion: I thought Cressida was a nub and weak willed(yeah thanks a lot Hunger Games XD) through out the book. All in all you are going to effin' love this.

Update: Currently reading Throne of Fire, while Ate Eriele is reading this one.

The Vampire Diaries Stefan's Diaries #1: Origins by L.J. Smith

Origins (The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries, #1)

If you wanna know what happened to the deadly love triangle of Stefan, Damon, and Katherine from the tv series and book series, then you should try this.

The Salvatore brothers were like twins. Always exploring the world together. Knew each other from the start, and had been the replacement for their lost mother. But that was until they met Katherine Pierce, the stunningly beautiful girl with her dark curls and piercing brown eye, during the Civil War. Beautiful, confident and smart lies a deep secret: she`s a vampire. Damon and Stefan would do anything to save her from being killed by townspeople.

My instant reaction to the book (since I`m watching the tv series too) was it was the same. Well, probably because the director`s name was also on the cover. The character mentioned on the book appeared in the present on the tv series. But anyway, let`s not talk about that. During my reading time, I was wondering from the first page on how Katherine would make her appearance and how would she make the brothers quarrel for her heart. As I read along, my imagination was shifting like it was really on the time set. The view had an effect, like it was old times. And the story didn`t change how I adore the gorgeously handsome Damon. He was really like that amazing from the start. It was disappointing that their father had shot them. It was as if Giusippe cares for his honor more than his only two sons, the only family left.
